WHAT IS MISSING IN ISLAMIC TEACHINGS
لَيْسَ الْبِرَّ اَنْ تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرِّمَنُ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتٰبِ وَالنَّبِيِّنَ
Goodness is not (only) in turning your faces towards east and west (for prayers) but to believe Allah, Akhirat, Angels, & Books Prophets (AL-BAQRA 176)
This is a part of the speech of Late. Mufti Mohd Mustafa Meftahi. Shaik-ul- Hadees. Most of the Rich, Poor, and Illiterate Muslims, who are having knowledge of Islam, like daily 5times Namaz is compulsory but they pray only on Fridays, and only in Ramzan, for the Hijab they think it as inequality with women, taking dowry money is haram, taking interest, drinking of liquor (wine), Zina are haram, even though most of the Middle class Muslims know the importance and compulsory instructions of Quran by way of speeches or by reading translation of quran in their mother tongue and are satisfied that their Emaan is complete by offering Salat, Zakat, Haj, Fasting practicing hijab performing partial and full ablution (wuzu and ghusul), wearing of cap and kurta putting beard, but they do not know the rights of parents, children, wife, husband, relatives and human beings, and how to earn money (etc). intentionally disobey the commands of Allah and involve in sin by knowingly. This could be a reason that their Emaan is very poor.
Hence all the intellectual scholars of Islam should try to understand why most of the Muslims are not following Islamic practices even though they are having Emaan and read kalima and Emaan -e Mufassil. All the scholars generally said Muslims are far from Quran since they recite or read without understanding, even most of the Arab people know Arabic Language and all scholars know Arabic but they are also not following the complete Islam.
The main mistake the scholars are committing, is that the teaching methods they adopt are not correct, always they teach only about Islamic practices, without understanding that there are two parts of islamic teaching, one is Emaan Part – 1 (Emaan-e- Mufassil) (i-e) base and the other is Islam (practices) part-2 (i.e.) called structure.
As per our observance throughout the world the Islamic scholars are generally focusing only on teaching of practices that is part -2 structure and the teachings of Emaan part-1 (Emaan-e-Muffassil) are not being explained in detail when 70% portion of the Quran is based on Emaan-e-Mufassil (i-e)Allah’s Attributes, Angels, heavenly books, prophets, Day of Judgement after death and Taqdeer (Allah’s Knowledge) and 30% portion is on Amaal (Deeds) and problems All the Islamic literatures and speeches of scholars on You Tube and syllabus of Islamic schools and in Friday Speeches or Quranic classes throughout the world they teach only on practices (i.e) Part – 2 (Structure) without giving detailed explanation of Emaan -e Muffassil they teach and explain only on Amaal (Deeds) and problems, that is why most of the Muslims are involved in shirk. and are not having realization of Allah, They always recite without understanding the words of Emaan -e-Muffasil. They are simply becoming Muslims by birth not by choice and Muslims by name and without recognising Allah’s attributes they are blindly following Islam on society or family traditions.
They don’t know how to recognise Allah and the difference between creator and creations and Emaan and Islam. How Allah is alone? What are his attributes, Even they do not know the meaning and example of his any attribute not only the children but their elders also cannot give an example of any one attribute, they simply hang frames of Allah’s names of attributes on walls or only for the sake of reward they recite and read on fingers. without knowing the meaning of any attribute (sifath) It is to be noted when all the attribute names are related to Allah’s creations, especially human being. Still they fail to know why it is compulsory to have faith on angles in Emaan? How we can prove that the Quran is God’s Words and the last heavenly book. What is the difference and common things between Quran and other heavenly books? What was the previous religion in heavenly books. Why there is no need of new heavenly book now? When the world is progressing in science day by day, the life style of human beings have changed.
How we can prove that Mohammed (S.A.W) is the last and true Prophet of Allah. How we can believe the day of judgement after death. What is Taqdeer? How to believe on Taqdeer What is this world for human beings, Why it is compulsory to accept Emaan? unless and until a person will not understand the truth of Emaan -e-Muffasil and Emaan-e Mujmal he will not completely follow the part -2 practices (i.e) structure.
All the things Allah created in this world have two parts one is base the other is structure, If the base is weak the structure will not stand perfectly, like wise Quranic teachings are also in two parts one is base Part-1 the other is structure Part-2 We know that without the base the building or the tree will not stand, likewise the human body cannot stand without soul. A person also cannot follow complete practice of Islam without strong Emaan. That is why most of the Muslims are getting insensible Emaan.
They should belief Emaan whole heartedly otherwise they become Muslims by birth or only by name. Most of the reverted Muslims are also impressed by practices of Islam (i.e) Part-2 Structure. Such as Hijab, equality, rights of women, system of salath, Azan, fasting, Haj and other practices. But since they are also not getting perfect details of Emaan, so that their children after them will also become like present Muslims.
Since a longtime most of the Muslims were having simply knowledge of Quran but they were empty by faith(Yaqeen) and now also with insensible Emaan or weak Emaan most of the Muslims are following Islam without faith (Yaqeen) they do not know what is the difference between Tawheed and shirk and without recognising Allah, they are following Islam.
Due to improper and incomplete teachings given to children they are having taqlidi Emaan, Fiqhai Emaan, Legal Emaan, Baseless and mindless Emaan that is why they are involved in shirk and forget Akhirat (hereafter), and are intentionally disobeying Allah’s commands.
This is the main reason they are not following Quran.The scholars of Islam are requested to understand and adopt the correct teaching methods and not to give incomplete and improper teachings.If they will not follow complete teachings they will be held responsible in Akhirath.
Rasulallah (PBUH) said that in the humanbody a piece of flesh lies, If it is sound the whole body is sound and if it corrupted the whole body is corrupted (i.e) the Heart.(Buqari, Muslim) Hazrath Aisha Siddiqua (RA) Said that in Islam first of all Jannat Dozak (Emaan) teaching received in vahi llahi when the people became strong in Islam (Emaan) then the commands of Haram of wine, theft and zina came. If in the begining commands of Haram comes then the people would have said we will not leave the sin. Theft Zina, Wine (Bukari 4993), It is like before sowing the seed the land should be fertile then only plant will grow into healthy plant, If without fertilizing the land the seed will not grow.
If the Machine is producing defective product no one correct the product they repair the machine likewise we have to focus on base i.e Emaan instead of structure. Similarly Imam Malik said that the last part of this Ummah without be rectified except by that which rectified its first part of Ummah was teached. Shaikh Abdul Kareem Pareekh said 80% Muslims are not having Sahaba type Emaan only two person are regularly performing Namaz in through out world. This explanation is not for true followers of Islam.
